"I wanted to sit by the sea and relax for the weekend in a comfortable hotel right on the water. I got my wish.
When I asked on Saturday where I could go to get the Sunday New York Times the next morning (years of living in NYC makes "the Times" required relaxation on Sunday morning), the desk man volunteered to stop off on his way to work on Sunday to get me the NY Times I asked for. I spent the perfect Sunday on the beach -- the Times crossword puzzle, had lunch delivered to my beach chair (delicious from the wonderful restaurant on the premise), and a clean not too crowded beach. I had all I wanted.
One bit of advice -- they don't have many ocean view rooms so get a pool side room on the third floor or higher."

"When we arrived they were over booked and asked us if we would be prepared to move to another hotel. We refused and they ended up putting us in a suite for the 3 nights of our stay. A very nice room and facilities. The Hotel is clearly going through a transition and is intending to upgrade to an all inclusive deal no doubt at extra cost. The Hotel is currently used a lot by conferences and weddings and they do their own thing. Hardly anyone seems to eat dinner there and we had one meal which was not good. Therefore not the greatest atmosphere. It is in a lovely location and is about 8 miles from the shops and restaurants. Not really a problem as most people would have a car. but not convenient for walking out to local restaurants etc."
